£330 - £400 per day Ltd

6 months rolling contract

In essence, you will be the person knowing your suppliers the best and you will add tremendous value at the interface between the company and their industrial partners, for the mutual benefit of products delivered to performance, quality and on time. As a result, this position has a high visibility within Procurement and in all the functions it is interfacing with (End Customers, Engineering, Projects & Product Assurance, Manufacturing, Suppliers).

This role will require you to work across silos and in many different cultures, soft skills like communication, effective presentation, and multicultural understanding are therefore key.

General technical understanding of the products and analytical skills are also essential to help you understand situations and thus influence your stakeholders better.

This role provides you with the opportunity to frequently travel for business and work alongside your suppliers, as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Over time, this will enable you to build strong teamwork relationship with interesting people from other culture and countries.


We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent

A least 5 years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of:

Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing/Technical Procurement

Ability to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks

Strong communication skills including active listening and empathy

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince

Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management

Skilled use of office tools (Word, Microsoft Project)

Negotiation level of English, both written and verbal

Industrial experience abroad would be a highly valued benefit

Knowledge of other languages, particularly German, French, Spanish or Japanese would be a highly valued benefit

System engineering / Project management certifications would be a valued benefit

Skills/Experience in any other digital tools would be a valued benefit
