£26.00 per hour (PAYE available)


Job Profile

The QA is fully empowered to manage all aspects of quality within the Spacecraft Production work area. The activity includes:

Define the surveillance plan for the area.

Lead prevention and quality improvements of Spacecraft Production processes

Drive the efficient management of non-conformance and Cost of Non quality reduction

Manage completion of corrective and  preventative actions to closure

Define and perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities, by ensuring correct implementation of procedures and processes, to ensure product quality meets the stated requirements.

Proactively promote and conduct risk analyses.

Carry out audits.

Lead and influence prevention and quality mind set.


You should have/ demonstrate the following skills:

Academic degree in Engineering with at least 3 years Production, Quality or Engineering experience within the Aerospace or Military industry.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with an ability to analyse and assess complex issues.

Good understanding of Quality Assurance and product assurance activities.

Strong quality and right first time approach.

Willingness to work as part of a team.

Good analytical skills and methodical approach to problem resolution and investigation.

Willingness to work on shift, on-call or off-site when required.

Able to work under pressure and in a changing environment

Knowledge of Space Quality standard would be a strong advantage.


Education & Training

Engineering degree in relevant field

Knowledge of Space Quality standard (e.g. ECSS)
