Engineering Operations Controller

Skills that an individual must have:

Must be able to use MS office

Demonstrable experience in being proactive in role.

Strong communication skills

Must be able to understand the AOP process and understand charge rates.

Understanding of business financial operations (not an accountant).

Will be responsible for controlling budgets in fuel systems and producing monthly forecasts while ensuring all project milestones are met so experience in this would be key.

Main accountabilities and deliverables:

Costs: Support the preparation of Statements of Work (SoWs) by the engineering teams.

Planning: Establishment and maintenance of engineering plans working very closely with the team to ensure a high quality plan is developed and agreed.

Resources: Support the engineering teams’ development of resource plans, usually through the SoW development process, but in any other ways that may occur.

Project Support: Support to Work Package Leader as required for the preparation and participation in stakeholder meetings, e.g. Project Team meetings / Visual Management meetings, Domain reviews, meetings with A/C Programme Chief Engineers.
