Required Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

3 years’ experience in Building Engineering Services Design in existing and new buildings.

Educated to ONC / HNC in a Building Engineering Services or similar engineering discipline

Demonstrated experience of full project lifecycle of facilities.

Good understanding of mechanical and electrical plant, systems and equipment in relation to engineering design, operation and maintenance.

Good understanding of subsequent maintenance and operation of engineering services.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation in a fast paced and changing environment.


Preferred Skills:

Competent designer to BS7671

Professional Membership of an engineering institution e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET.

Project management skills and qualifications.

Experience of large item logistic / freight and handling solutions.

Experience of building and perimeter security management and services.

Flexibility to support multiple future production locations

A new role has been created for a Facilities Engineer inside the project team. The scope of this role is to deliver suitable production facilities for the production of product platforms in line with the Global Business Case requirements.


Tasks & Accountabilities:


Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Delivery and maintenance of safe and efficient production facilities in accordance with Safety, Quality, Cost and Time requirements to enable Lean operations.

Integration into the Production Multi-Function Team (MFT) and wider UAS business line.

Application of Industry and client standard design and calculation software.

Benchmarking of facilities solutions

Preparation of reports, drawings and specifications

Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and customers.

Project management of facilities management activities.

Be the single point interface for facility management topics in the enablement of HAPS aircraft and ground system production.

Act as a focal point for the company FM community in relation to HAPS programme topics

Monitoring of installation works and observance of technical compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety matters (EHS).

Problem solving in a timely and flexible manner.

Comprehensive IT Skills including CAD.
