To carry out and/or control an assigned task or project, from
instigation through to completion, in either a Focal or lead
design/certification role, in accordance with Company procedures.
The tasking, supervision and motivation of both permanent and
sub-contract staff assigned to the same project as he/she may be
involved with or Focal for, as required,
To initiate and attend design reviews and progress meetings, and
liase with the customer, interfacing departments, sub-contractors or
suppliers as required.
To exercise responsibility as an authorised airworthiness and
checking signatory.
EXPERIENCE
Essential - Should be experienced in avionic/electrical or
mechanical design in the aerospace industry, with a working
knowledge of a recognised CAD System.
An understanding and experience of current civil aerospace
certification requirements and other relevant requirements.
Previous experience as an airworthiness checking signatory at Senior
Design Engineer and Design Engineer levels.
Desirable - Should have a sound working knowledge of CAD systems
such as AutoCAD 2004/6, Autodesk Inventor, or Solid Edge and be
conversant with Microsoft Office.

skills.
