Our client is a leading aerospace company based
on the South coast of England, requires a "Project Engineer" with
experience of Planning and Estimating a variety of work packages
within the Aircraft Interior Environment items.
The successful candidate must be able to:
" Read, interpret and understand drawings and technical
documentation including BOMs with a working knowledge of EASA part
21 Sub Part J & G and Part 145.
" Initiate and manage specific projects
" Undertake project planning to include milestones and deliverables.
" Is able to have and make a firm relationship with the end
customer, and embraces daily contact when and if required.
" Liaising with sales, design, production & purchasing to enable
rapid turn around time for each quotation.
" Prepare reports.
" Demonstrate database and spreadsheet management.
" Source subcontractors and suppliers
" Prepare quotations for manning levels and costings for RFQ
purposes
" Communicate at all levels
" What to progress personally, both in position and remuneration.
" The position will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Skills and
Experience required:
The ability to plan and organise in a methodical
and analytical manner is essential.
A self motivated, hard working and reliable individual with the
ability to multi task and a minimum of 5 years experience in a
similar role is required.
