8. Carryout aircraft reviews and make recommendations for C of A
renewal
9. Make recommendations to the Quality Systems Manager on any
corrective actions that may be necessary as a result of observations
in the course of their duties.
10. Assist in management of the company authorisation scheme in
ensuring applicants meet the minimum standard.
11. Advise personnel on Quality and Legislative matters
12. Review changes in legislation and regulations and manage any
required changes to company documentation and processes.
Skills and
Experience required:
EDUCATION
A good education in engineering skills and training in Quality
Assurance is essential and formal apprentice training in aviation
(Civil or Military) would be desirable.
EXPERIENCE
A good background in aviation and Quality Assurance with knowledge
of Civil and Military aviation requirements.
To carry out the duties detailed above, the person must be a
licensed engineer with the relevant type rating.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
An easy but firm manner with an ability to confidently inter-relate
with personnel at all levels.
Understand the duty of care and the ethos of Quality and
Airworthiness.
