Leading international defence manufacturer seeks a Product Support Engineer to assist the Product Support Manager in the conduct of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities and perform Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) tasks and sub-tasks on time and within budget.

Together with exemplary attention to detail, a thorough and conscientious approach and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, the ideal candidate should preferably:

Have practiced ILS and LSA and have a working knowledge of Def Stan 00-60, 00-40 and 00-56 series

Have experience of scoping, implementing, managing and delivering ILS deliverables

Experience in writing ILS Plans and managing to them

Have a vehicle or mechanical engineering background

Have an understanding of the MoD procurement process

Be able to work unsupervised, plan project work and meet delivery targets

Be prepared to get "hands on" involvement in any aspect of the role

Be computer literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project

It is essential that the candidate has the ability to interact and communicate at all levels can develop ILS solutions for new and legacy equipment and can ensure ILS and R&M principles feature prominently in the design process.
