Protec Technical - vacancies

Responsible to ensure that windnoise IQS targets are achieved.

Progressing known concerns to closure either by process or design change

Conducting regular plant audits to identify new concerns and manage rapid closure
-Evaluation of trial vehicles to identify windnoise
-Lead design groups in the development of countermeasures
- Conduct digital mock up analysis of vehicle developments that have not yet reached physical build stage (by Space Vision and CAD)

Skills and Experience required:

Education:
HND or Above in engineering related discipline

Experience:
Must have a min of 2 years experience in wind noise or NVH related Veh evaluation and experimentation

Must have basic knowledge of acoustics
Must have knowledge of door sealing systems from design or test perspective
Preferably has knowledge and experience of production quality measurement tools/indices

Technical Skills:
- Data acquisition and analysis relating to NVH measurement
- Must be able to identify source and true cause of wind noise concerns
- Preference to have CAD and I-DEAS (basic Competence) + Microsoft Office Software
- Must have a full UK driving license. (Capable or suitable to be trained for high speed driving)
