Our client is seeking a Business Development
Manager to help continue to grow existing markets and expand into
new ones, both within UK and abroad.
The recruited manager will join a small team focused on achieving
sales growth through a combination of acquiring work on existing
programmes, whilst undertaking larger/more complex programmes across
Aerospace, Defence, Communications and Naval markets.
In order to develop individual customer strategies, the Business
Development Manager will need to have acquired significant
commercial knowledge – including customer base, charge out rates and
market pricing for new programmes - of the target markets.
In essence, key objectives of this role will be:-
• Manage relationship with key customers
• Help create/implement customer development strategies/plans
• Produce commercial proposals
• Cross-company exploitation of products, services and markets
• Harness company/group synergies and market opportunities

Experience required:
In addition to having a proven, commercial
knowledge of markets for composite products, the incumbent will need
to be:-
• An excellent communicator for internal/external impact
• A self-starter who is self motivated
• Able to plan, develop and organise activities to help meet company
sales targets
• A team player
