Powertrain Development Engineer Ref: J10771
OUTLINE OF ROLE:
The role of EJQ is to ensure the quality of development within
Powertrain:
To investigate market information and review countermeasures;
To check new designs and confirmation procedures.
The Engineer’s role will include:
Market concerns investigation
Interpretation of warranty data
Confirmation of countermeasures
Customer survey investigation, interpretation and follow-up eg IGS
Study recurrence prevention
Review and confirm status of new developments
Skills and
Experience required:
Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent
in Powertrain engineering and quality techniques
Ability to interpret information and investigate concerns
Practical ability to lead investigation of actual vehicles and parts
Knowledge of problem -solving techniques
Capable of working professionally with other divisions, suppliers
etc
Flexible to undertake varying activities and travel
Salary: £23-24ph Ltd
Location: Bedfordshire
