Acceleration Performance Engineer                                                   Ref: J10766

Main Responsibilities:

Performance planning from vehicle dynamics first principles
Detailed vehicle performance benchmarking and market appreciation
Develop strategies to attain BI/IQS requirements
Resolution of Analysis, Test and Vehicle concerns
Management of suppliers
Management of costs within areas of responsibility
Develop process to integrate AVL Drive and Cruise into client working practices
Responsibility for producing and releasing the acceleration planning drawing



Skills and Experience required:

Minimum 3 years experience of Vehicle performance design of acceleration performance with specific knowledge of vehicle performance first principles and the appreciation of performance target setting and implementation.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
Excellent knowledge of associated legislation
Knowledge of latest software prediction tools for vehicle performance planning
Knowledge of competitor vehicle performance achievement
Understanding of key performance requirements in relation to customer needs

Salary: £23-24ph Ltd
